IHG One Rewards has launched its latest global promotion, valid for stays from October 1 through December 31, 2026.
After registering, members earn unlimited double points (2X) on each qualifying stay booked via IHG-owned direct channels starting from the second stay.
Book through the IHG App, WeChat, or LINE to unlock triple points (3X) on subsequent stays.
Note: the first stay after registration earns base points only—no bonus—so a cheap activation stay is recommended.

Key Promotion Rules
- Promotion period: October 1 – December 31, 2026 (stay dates).
- Registration: Pre-registration ran Sep 17–30; you can still register during the promotion, but stays must be completed after registration to qualify.
- Bonus structure:
- 2X points: Book via IHG direct channels (website, call center, etc.) from the second stay onward.
- 3X points: Book via IHG One Rewards App (HarmonyOS, Android, iOS), WeChat (mainland China), or LINE (Japan, Taiwan, Thailand) from the second stay onward.
- First stay activation: The first qualifying stay after registration earns zero bonus points. Use a low-cost stay to unlock 2X/3X for all future stays.
Maximizing Your Points
Always book through the IHG App to get 3X points. On a $100 room rate, you’d earn 3,000 total points (1,000 base + 2,000 promo bonus) versus 2,000 with 2X—a 50% boost. Points are not elite-qualifying but can be redeemed for free nights, merchandise, or transferred to airlines.

What Doesn’t Qualify
- Stays with room rate under US$30 per night.
- Reward Nights (points stays) and Points & Cash bookings.

- Stays completed before registration, even if during the promotion window.
