Marriott Bonvoy Up to 4,500 Bonus Points Per Stay: September 22 – November 22, 2026

Marriott Bonvoy has officially launched its fall 2026 global promotion, covering paid stays between September 22 and November 22, 2026. Members who register will earn 1,500 bonus points for every paid stay of two or more consecutive nights under the same reservation.

If that stay is at a participating resort, members will receive an additional 3,000 bonus points, bringing the maximum to 4,500 bonus points per stay.

Registration is open now and closes on November 13, 2026.

You can access the official promotion page at the Marriott Bonvoy Promotion Central.

All Bonvoy members are encouraged to register before their first eligible stay to ensure the bonus points are credited.

💡 The bottom line: 1,500 points for any 2+ night stay, plus 3,000 more at resorts, up to 4,500 points per stay. Registration is free, there is no limit on the number of eligible stays, but only paid stays booked through Marriott channels count — award stays and free night certificates are excluded.

2. Who Should Register

Members who benefit the most

Members with fall Marriott travel already planned: Whether you’re headed to a beach resort in the Maldives, a ski lodge in the Alps, or a city hotel for business, as long as your stay falls between September 22 and November 22 and is a paid stay of 2+ nights, you’ll earn bonus points after registering. Registration itself is free — not registering means leaving points on the table.

Members planning resort stays: This is the true sweet spot of the promotion. A single resort stay can earn up to 4,500 points. At the commonly cited valuation of approximately 0.8 cents per point, that’s about $36 in value per resort stay. For members booking more affordable resort properties, the return rate becomes significantly amplified.

Frequent Marriott travelers: Since there is no limit on the number of eligible stays during the promotion period, members with multiple trips can accumulate substantial bonuses. For example, a Platinum member completing 3 resort stays of 2 nights each at $160 per night would earn: 13,500 Q3 bonus points + ~10,080 base and elite bonus points + 3,000 welcome bonus points = approximately 26,580 points, covering roughly 28% of the $960 room cost.

When it doesn’t make sense to chase this promotion

A single 4,500-point bonus is worth about $36. Making a special trip just to hit the 2-night minimum often costs more in transportation and time than the bonus itself. This promotion is best stacked on top of trips you already have planned, not used as a reason to create new ones. Additionally, award stays, Cash + Points, and Free Night Awards do not qualify — even a 2-night award stay earns zero bonus points.

3. Notable Resort Participation

Over 60 resorts in Greater China participate in this promotion. Some of the more affordable options that maximize the return rate include:

  • China: Chongli Residence Inn, Xishuangbanna Yunnan Sheraton, Heyuan Bavaria Fortune Garden Four Points, Huizhou Agi Sheraton, Qingyuan Lion Lake Sheraton, Qufu Greenview JW Marriott, Wutai Mountain Marriott
  • Southeast Asia & Pacific: St. Regis Bora Bora, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Khao Lak Marriott Resort
  • Europe: Most luxury resorts in the Marriott portfolio across the Mediterranean, Alps, and Adriatic coast
  • Caribbean: Aruba Ocean Club, St. Thomas, Curacao resorts

For bookings, visit the Marriott Bonvoy Promotion Central to verify hotel participation and book via Marriott’s official website or App to ensure the bonus triggers.

4. How to Register and Book — 3 Steps

  1. Register for the promotion: Log in to your Marriott Bonvoy account, go to the “Promotions” tab, find “Earn up to 4,500 Bonus Points” and click to register. Alternatively, visit the Promotion Central page directly. Registration deadline is November 13, 2026.
  2. Verify your earning preference: In your account settings, set your “Earning Preference” to Marriott Bonvoy points (not airline miles). Members earning miles are not eligible for this promotion.
  3. Book paid stays via Marriott channels: Through Marriott.com, the mobile App, participating properties, or the Customer Engagement Center, book a paid stay of 2+ consecutive nights between September 22 and November 22, 2026, at a qualifying rate. Rates booked through third-party platforms (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) do not qualify.

5. Important Restrictions & Posting Timeline

Item Rule
Eligible Stays 2+ consecutive paid nights under the same reservation, at a qualifying rate
Excluded Award redemptions, Cash + Points, Free Night Awards; third-party platform rates; BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments, and owner-occupied vacation club weeks
Multiple Rooms Only one room per stay counts — booking multiple rooms does not multiply the bonus
1,500 Base Points Posting Within 10 business days after checkout
3,000 Resort Bonus Posting Up to 8 weeks after the promotion earning period ends
Homes & Villas by Marriott 2+ night stays earn 1,500 points, but do not qualify for the additional 3,000 resort bonus

6. My Recommendation

In the context of Marriott’s past global promotions, this fall offer is moderate on the lower side. The 2023 promotion gave 1,500 points per stay plus 3,000 more for every 3 different brands stayed; the 2024 promotion gave 2,000 points per 2+ night stay plus 2,000 more at MGM hotels; the 2025 promotion gave 2,025 points per stay (max 3 stays) plus 2,000 more at select hotels. This year’s promotion removes the cap on the number of stays, which favors frequent travelers. However, the 4,500-point per stay maximum means you’d need to complete 3 resort stays to surpass last year’s total cap of 6,075 points.

My advice is clear: If you already have fall Marriott travel planned, register right now. Registration is free and there’s no stay limit, so there is zero reason to miss out. If you’re planning a resort stay, prioritize more affordable participating resorts (such as Chongli Residence Inn, Xishuangbanna Sheraton, Heyuan Four Points) to maximize the return rate of those 4,500 points. If your itinerary isn’t fully set yet, at least complete the registration now — stays completed before registration don’t count, but all eligible stays from now until November 22 will accumulate. The earlier you register, the more you earn.
